New options make attending chamber functions easier!

Every official chamber event will now offer an option for sending an RSVP, a Google map to the location and the opportunity to add events to a calendar. Each RSVP is stored in the "Chamber Prompt" website, where staff can easily keep track of attendees and a reminder will go out to members the day before the event.

Chamber Spotlight:                           "The Millers House"

The Millers House has been a member of the Chamber of Commerce since August 1, 2000.  Located near Willow Grove Mill, the Millers House is a very peaceful, relaxing setting yet close to everything.  It is very tastefully decorated with all the modern comforts! A large picture of the house can be found in Museum of Shenandoah Valley in Winchester.  They felt it best represented houses that were built back in that era mid 1850’s. Chris Smith of Richmond is the current owner of “The Millers House”.

Like most Speakeasies established in the 1920’s and 30’s, the 401 West Main Street address is also hidden from view with a side entrance at the east end of The Mimslyn Inn.  You would never know this basement space was an old carriage house before recent renovations transformed the concrete floors and exposed brick into an imtimate setting with low lights, flat screen TV’s and plenty of food and beverages to please every palette!

Deadline for "In the Loop" is Tuesdays at 10 a.m.

Please forward "In the Loop" to your employees. Print a copy for your office or business!
