Library

Page Public Library is located at 100 Zerkel Street.  Collection includes: Video Cassettes; Audio Cassettes; Large print books; magazines; coupon exchange.  

Also housed at the Library is a large Genealogical and Historical section under the volunteer services of the Genealogical Society of Page County.  This collection includes a pamphlet collection of 500+pieces of unpublished genealogical and historical related material dealing with Page County and the collection of the Page News & Courier microfilmed newspaper from 1869 through present.  

Special programs include a preschool story time on Mondays and a 2 year-old story time on Wednesdays.  Interest-library loans available from Rockingham Public Library  (approximately 157,000 volumes available.) 540-743-6867.  

Medical

Page Memorial Hospital is a community-owned 54-bed facility that provides acute, intermediate respite, and 24-hour emergency services.  The hospital also offers home care services, two physician practice groups and a multi-specialty clinic.

There are twelve primary care providers and three family nurse practitioners available within the community.  There are also five dentists, one optometrist and one ophthalmologist.

There are three nursing homes in Page County plus other facilities for elderly.

Page County Health Department, a local office of the Virginia Department of Health, provides medical, nursing and nutritional services with health education, communicable disease control and environmental health services.
